![]() ![]() Which kind of Surface pen do you have? (identify: ) Personally I wouldn't suffer that for DAW use on any device, because a proper pencil is always better for anything that requires precise pointing. ![]() Touch-only (used only via fingers) is whole another thing. Menus and so on are a complete nightmare, editing is terrible compared to software designed for touch (IOS), there is no way I would use Windows over IOS for touch based music making. Let me know your thoughts or any types of setups you guys might be into. Oh and PS, I’m writing this on my iPad Air with my magic keyboard from my mac and i am already liking the flow. So all i need are reaper and all my waves, plugin alliance, softube and many plugins to be ported over hahaha, I’m not asking much. Just imaging a super clean setup, one ipad, a big monitor to boost the visibility and that’s it apart from the ipad case with mouse and keyboard. I think it would be super refreshing if i could walk away from my set up Which is built around an iMac and MacBook Pro. Yeah i know there is cubasis, but I’m a cubase user from many moons ago and I’m just not recording bands as much as I’m doing radio edits, mixing and mastering as well as some ghost productions. In my mind reaper would be the first type of daw that would be integrated because of its sheer flexibility and how the software was written to be infinitely customizable. ![]() ![]() The question is are big music companies going to get into the mix persay. I look at the way iPads are going and the new mouse and keyboard control looks amazing. Well, is it possible or is it going to be possible in the near future. ![]()
